Pro tempore
This is a box that I designed and made for my Pro tempore (2014–2019) series. It is inspired by the Japanese "kamishibai" boxes, which are used by travelling storytellers. The box shows one image in the front, while all other images are kept together in the back; the image in the front can be slid out and replaced by another image.
Cardboard box with pane of glass; hand-made gelatin silver prints on resin-coated paper; paint, ink, etc.
